Over the last few weeks, we've been taking a hard look at the US natal chart, born on the 4th of July, 1776, and especially its Pluto in Capricorn.

The reason we're focusing on the dark lord is because next year Pluto will re-enter Capricorn, a vibration this country has not known since the 18th century, but which returns again in January '08.

  What does it mean to have Pluto in Capricorn?

One simple translation is secret (Pluto) government (Capricorn). While examining this theme, we have seen a string of illustrious presidents decidedly coming out against a central banking system, fearful of its behind the scenes influence over the ship of state. Jefferson, Jackson and Lincoln chronologically led the list, as singularly determined individuals willing to stand up and resist the powerful forces intent upon controlling the nation's money supply and through it, our governmental polices.

They are fundamentally very different energies. Scorpio (ruled by Pluto) is secretive and hidden, while Aquarius attempts to share information with the collective. It has been said that the etheric streams of Aquarius which flow from the urn of the water bearer are knowledge based upon the free exchange of ideas.

Our nation's Moon in Aquarius calls for a government 'of the people, by the people and for the people'. Another president who had the will to resist and whose natal Uranus in Aquarius sought a 'New Frontier' for the people, one which would help free them from these silent shackles. In true Aquarian fashion, this president sought to achieve his goal as a part of a collective effort to educate the American people to what was really happening behind the scenes, and he did so using the power of the pulpit to circumnavigate the forces around him by appealing directly to the American people.

  As we draw closer to the Age of Aquarius, the light of his words gather even greater strength.
