[We now stand at a crossroads of two huge currents of time; the end of the Age of Pisces and the beginning of Aquarius. ‘The 8th Seal‘ is a work that closely examines the Biblical book of prophecy that spoke of these futuristic conditions, and what they might mean for us today. The events that are transpiring all around us are fulfilling the predictions of this work, from weather related disasters to the rise of powerful forces in the Mid-East, the land of the Euphrates.

We drop into a segment of this work, linking together some of the images that John of Patmos draws from both the Old and New Testaments from near direct quotes, providing us with greater insight as to what they may mean. If you find some of these images confusing (like, what is this ‘Scroll’ you keep talking about?), get the book, wherein each of these images is described more fully.]

“‘But you, Son of man, are to listen to what I say to you; do not be a rebel like that rebellious tribe. Open your mouth and eat what I am about to give you.’

“When I looked, there was a hand stretching out to me, holding a scroll. He unrolled it in front of me; it was written on, front and back; on it was written ‘Lamentations, dirges and cries of grief’.

“He then said, ‘Son-of-man, eat what you see; eat this scroll, then go and speak to the House of Israel.'”
Ezekiel 2: 8-3: 1.

The reason he has to eat the Scroll, as in Revelation, is that he needs to study and digest the information that is contained there. Having done that, he can make predictions about what is to come and present the information to the people.

The term “Son of man” mystifies contemporary scholars, but it is symbolic imagery for Aquarius which can be applied in different ways. Here, it is being used to describe Ezekiel the prophet. Later Jesus becomes associated both with the name, together with his ‘return’ in the future. Aquarians work with science and the stars, both astronomy and astrology. They are the information gatherers. These are the waters they distribute from the celestial Urn. This term “Son of man” can be represented as part of the personality of the individual, as it seems to be in Ezekiel, or it can represent the stellar constellation, towards which the future (the Vernal Equinox in the 1stcentury AD) is headed. They could either be Aquarians (generally used for having one’s Sun in Aquarius), or have Aquarius strong in their charts. For the record, I have Aquarius rising. I work with the stars as you might have already guessed. I’ve been chewing on this Scroll for over thirty years now.

And what must the ‘Son of man‘ do? Yahweh addresses Ezekiel:

“Son of man, I have appointed you as watchman for the House of Israel.”
Ezekiel 3: 17.

He is watching the stars and regional developments and how they will impact Israel. But he is asked not to be a rebel. This makes sense as Aquarians are the rebels, the revolutionaries of the zodiac. They are eccentric and march to the beat of a different drummer. Spirit is asking Ezekiel not to rebel, not to follow his maverick nature, but to get in line and work with God (for it is part of our Free Will to choose).

In Daniel, the term ‘Son of man‘ is used as something down the road, yet to come. It still lies in the future but is anticipated by the prophets.

“I was gazing into the visions of the night,
when I saw, coming on the clouds of heaven,
as it were a son of man.
Daniel 7: 13.If we return to our lines from Isaiah, our Scroll is being handed to us, together with it’s writing front and back. Stars have come, stars have gone. This time we are being given an encapsulated translation of the influence of the seven stars of the Scroll in Isaiah. Collectively, they represent‘lamentations, dirges and cries of grief’.

Isn’t this exactly what history has shown? Is that not in fact what we have found as we look back on these dates armed with all the advantages of hindsight? When Ezekiel is being written in the 6th century BC, the Scroll still lies in the future, but it can be seen approaching in the ‘visions of the night’, like the Son of man ‘coming on the clouds of heaven’. Even Jesus uses the term, not to apply to himself, but to the coming Age.

“…the coming of the Son of man will be like lightning striking in the east and flashing far into the west…

“Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven; then, too, all the peoples of the earth will beat their breasts; and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet to gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Matthew 24: 27-31.

Please, let me repeat that for you.

“…then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven…”

This is the sign of the Son of Man, one of the twelve signs of the zodiac. And it does what? It is striking in the East! It’s aligning with the Vernal Equinox and becoming a new Eastern Star!! This is exactly what we have been looking for.

It will appear in heaven because the Vernal Equinox will activate it, will give it life. It’s always been there, but now the ‘power’ will pass to Aquarius, effectively ‘lighting it up’ like a neon sign.  God is turning it on, ‘with power and great glory’ together with all that implies.

These lines suggest Aquarius will begin with a bang, possibly a huge natural event, such as the shifting of the Earth’s core, coupled with an off-the-scales earthquake whose impact will author a social realignment culminating in a great battle between opposing forces. Matthew and Revelation seem to suggest both, first one and then the other. It is the precise sequence that we are attempting to unravel here. Obviously, Jesus is lifting these lines of scripture from Daniel because he feels they are important, but he is giving us additional clues about what it will mean. Both Daniel and Jesus see the time of the ‘Son of man’ coming; as do other prophets, but the events described will not transpire until after the time of the Great Persecution. Omega is the end, but it is also the beginning- the beginning of the labor pains.

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed, for this is something that must happen, but the end will not be yet. For nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes here and there. All this is only the beginning of the birth pangs.”
Matthew 24: 6-8.

In biblical terms this is the end of the period known to the Christians as the ‘Kingdom of the world’ and the beginning of that known as the ‘Kingdom of our Lord’ (Rev. 11: 15). We are simply moving from one astronomical image to the next in precessional sequence, from Pisces to Aquarius.

The power and focus is the Vernal Equinox. As the cataclysmic pages of history have shown, their manifestation is an impressive feat, thereby demonstrating great power and glory.

I couldn’t do it.

Could you?

Daniel, Matthew and Jesus are making it abundantly clear in these lines, supplying us with additional clues because the Time (in stellar terms) is now here. We are much closer to these events in the New Testament than we were in Daniel. For the angel sent by Jesus in Revelation (unlike Daniel) the themes regarding the Scroll are not to be kept a secret. He provides us with added information.
