Posted on December 21st, 2012 by Don Cerow

Solstice Special Athena in NASA’s Lion’s Den A little over a month ago, NASA decided that it was time to take on what they consider to be the hoaxsters. This mostly deals with the predictions surrounding the Winter Solstice of this year, and the end of the Mayan calendar. It provided a question and answer […]

On the Threshold We stand on the edge of a new vibration. The end of the Mayan calendar has flagged a whole new interest in the ramifications of this enigma. One of the best interpretations I have ever come across has been used before between the columns of the WEB, and we will share it […]

Posted on December 7th, 2012 by Don Cerow

* Starlight Long ago a seed was planted. It simply said that Star Knowledge could be found in both Homer and the Bible. Armed with youthful enthusiasm and ample curiosity, we set out on our quest. Job listening to his wife Of course there are obvious Biblical references. Job mentions particular constellations as having been […]

A Stellar Character

Posted on November 30th, 2012 by Don Cerow

A Stellar Character “The ghostly figure of a toiling hero rolls through heaven close by, on what labor bent no one can say, but men call him simply The Man on His Knees: an image of weariness sunk on his knees, his arms uplifted from both of his shoulders, and he holds his hands out […]

The Day After

Posted on November 23rd, 2012 by Don Cerow

Thanksgiving is a holiday that celebrates a special celestial significance. This is not surprising, as the heavens are always lock step with the seasons, and Thanksgiving is a seasonal holiday, generally held before winter at the end of the growing cycle. In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of every November. […]

Astrology and Religion

Posted on November 16th, 2012 by Don Cerow

Astrology and Religion Last week we took a brief look at Franz Cumont’s Astrology and Religion Among the Greeks and the Romans, together with his opinion on the subject. We made it no further than the introduction, wherein he unequivocally states that astrology is a morbid manifestation elevated to the state of mental disease, the […]

All Souls Day

Posted on November 2nd, 2012 by Don Cerow

In order to breath life back into the Gods of Yesteryear, Ovid attempted to capture in a written record what had been the spirit of the calendar of the Republic. He was trying to secure its pagan wisdom for future generations. Most of the world’s cultures believe that divine guidance resides in heaven above. […]

Keys to the Kingdom

Posted on October 29th, 2012 by Don Cerow

The ghosts of lost cultures linger still about the ancient gates of Time. Let’s pursue their dim outline and carefully listen to what these phantoms might have to tell us about the old ways. Time is a great wheel that turns ceaselessly on the hub of heaven. But this wheel has been ‘notched’ at different […]

Here in the columns of the WEB over the decades we have continually come back to the theme of the Ages and their importance as molders of civilization. In general, we know more about that which is most recent. The further back into time one ventures, the less information there is to substantiate that period. We currently […]

Probing the Fault

Posted on October 12th, 2012 by Don Cerow

As we write this column, Saturn is trining Neptune, each at zero degrees of their respective signs. Saturn just entered zero degrees of Scorpio, while Neptune has retrograded back to zero Pisces. Zero degrees of any of the signs of the zodiac is a particularly formidable placement, where the energy is just being born, young, […]

An Intuitive look at the Ages

Posted on October 5th, 2012 by Don Cerow

I have been studying the Ages for an extended period of time. Much of this work has been done in the mythological, historical and archaeological realms, but it has not been limited to these. Occasionally I go to intuitive sources to see what they have to say. In many of these cases, I simply put […]

From Age to Everlasting Age

Posted on September 28th, 2012 by Don Cerow

The WEB often focuses on the passage of the Ages as a theme of history, believing it to be one of the chief determinates of social, environmental and political events. A scrutiny of the passage of both the Vernal and Autumnal  positions in time crafts much that has been recorded in the annals of human […]

Aries – A New Beginning

Posted on April 2nd, 2004 by Don Cerow

In the annual seasonal cycle we have once again come to the time of the start of another year. Creation is made new as time throws off its wintery coat and puts on a lighter, more colorful flowery dress. Taurus – Back to Basics

Posted on May 9th, 2003 by Don Cerow

This week we’re going to go back to basics as we take a look at some Sun Sign Astrology. This is the stuff that most newspaper and magazine columns are based on. When the Sun passes through a sign of the zodiac for a month, it conveys a personality ‘stamp’ on people with which most […]
