It’s a hard rain that’s going to fall

Posted on August 22nd, 2021 by Don Cerow

One of the greatest tragedies recently has been from the island of Haiti which was hit a year ago with a huge tropical storm and then hammered with an earthquake and a tropical depression (Grace) in the last two weeks. Aid was and has been very slow in arriving and what has made it on shore has often been looted by vandals.

COVID-19 cases hit record-highs in this country as deaths surge 300%: Florida released data which shows there were more than 150,000 new infections in a week in this state alone as hospitals buckled under the volume. In addition the state has been hit with two storms. Fred struck the panhandle while Henri peeled away and has been upgraded in strength to a class one hurricane as it heads up the east coast for the Empire State. Henri is moving north at fourteen miles per hour while packing winds of 75 miles per hour.

In the meantime, three volcanoes are going off simultaneously in Alaska’s portion of the Ring of Fire.

On an astronomical note, if you have clear skies (those under the current rainy conditions won’t) Jupiter stands in opposition to the Sun, which means that it appears brighter as seen from the Earth because it is closer to the Earth. Astrologically speaking this means conditions are at an extreme, running to excess. Indeed, with the collapse of Afghanistan and potential bloodbath there, coupled with the Siberian fires, which are larger than all the other current fires on the Earth combined, we’ve certainly have our work cut out for us in the days to come.

Beating on the same old drum, this larger set of escalating catastrophic events represents the old way of doing things (Pisces) and the new currents (Aquarius) on a collision course with each other. The 8th Seal goes into this in considerable detail.

On a specific note from the US chart and the events taking place in Afghanistan, the US has a Mars Neptune natal square, Neptune is on the Midheaven in Virgo (it’s detriment), while Mars is in Gemini in the seventh house, it’s accidental detriment. Transiting Neptune is opposing the natal Neptune now and at the end of September will square the natal Mars, setting off whatever that means for the national character.

The US military is at a low ebb now ( August 21) through September (September 29).

      Over and out.
