There have been a number of works which have influenced my thought through youth, but possibly none more so than John Michell’s The View Over Atlantis. It describes a time, now largely forgotten, when Terra Firma was mapped out as one big observatory, a ‘City of God’, nestled in the bosom of the Earth. It was still under  construction up until the time things began to fall apart and what we think of as ‘history’ begins.

Much in the same manner that we respond to acupuncture points affecting other parts of the body, so too is the Earth a living, breathing entity that may be impacted by the locations of megalithic stones, her acupuncture points, that are seasonally or ritualistically stimulated by dancing, drumming and otherwise ‘vibrating’ these sacred points. As time went by these stones would be replaced by temples, churches, and ultimately, legend.

“… and they stopped building the town.”

During the Age of Gemini it was precisely these characteristics that were bumped up a grade, accelerated or advanced as part of a world wide social agenda. Heaven was seen in the contours of the Earth. Time was measured by the passage of the stars overhead, and storytelling (myth) inherited a primary function in the dance of civilization.

“So, they are all a single people, with a single language!” said Yahweh.

“This is but the start of their undertakings! There will be nothing too hard for them to do. Come, let us go down and confuse their language on the spot so that they can no longer understand one another.”

Yahweh scattered them thence over the whole face of the Earth, and they stopped building the town. It was named Babel, therefore, because there Yahweh confused the language of the whole Earth. It was from there that Yahweh scattered them over the whole face of the Earth.”                                                    -Genesis 1, 5-9.

The Earth was being prepared for Her marriage to heaven until outside forces began to put a real strain on the whole system.

“Imagine a fiery chain stretched from mountain peak to mountain peak, as far as the eye could reach, and paid out until it touched the ‘high’ places of the earth at a number of ridges, banks, and knowls. Then visualize a mound, circular earthwork, or clump of trees, planted on these high points, and in low points in the valley other mounds ringed round with water to be seen mark the way at intervals, and on a bank leading up to a mountains ridge or down to a ford the track cut deep so as to form a guiding notch on the skyline as you come up. In a bwlch or mountain pass the road cut deeply as a notch afar off. Here and there and at two ends of ponds dug on the line, or streams banked up into ‘flashes’ to form reflecting points on the beacon track the beacon was fired on the traditional day.

All these works exactly on the sighting line.

The wayfarer’s instructions are still deeply rooted in the peasant mind to-day, when he tells you- quite wrongly now- ‘You just keep straight on.”
From “The Old Straight Track” by Alfred Watkins

And from the preface of “The View Over Atlantis.

“Despite the warnings of astrologers and students of sacred history, many find themselves unprepared for the changes that inevitably occur as the spring point enter Aquarius. Yet, as events move toward the pattern foreshadowed by prophecy, as portents, long awaited, stir the primeval spirits from the depths of mythology, the changeable and impermanent nature of the structure, evolved during the preceding two thousand years, the age of Pisces, becomes ever more apparent.

“Certain predictable phenomena mark the beginning of each new cycle. Ignatius of Antioch, in the first century of the Christian era described the surging spirit of the times that the shattered tyrants and destroyed the power of the old magicians.

“Similarly, the late C.G. Jung in 1959 wrote of “changes in the constellation of psychic dominants, of the archetypes ‘of gods’, as they were called, which bring about or accompany, long lasting transformations of the collective psyche.”

“Old secrets rise to the surface and dissolve into the consciousness of the human race to fertilize the seed of evolutionary growth. The important discoveries about the past have been made not so much through the present refined techniques of treasure hunting and grave robbery, but in the intuition of those whose faith in poetry led them to a scientific truth. The gradual accumulation within each succeeding generation of the total knowledge of the past through the hereditary medium, known to biologists as DNA, is a phenomenon of which we have again become conscious, and this realization ensures the ultimate re-establishment of the former belief in the revelation on which the science of the ancient world was founded.”

In the old straight track, when simply walking these ley lines brought about healing and centering, the themes of Gemini are evoked. Wind and Air gods (Sumer and Norse) ruled the roost. The duality of the Tao held sway for all those “born of the Egg” (China’s Pan Ku and Greece and Rome’s Castor and Pollux). “Transportation and communication” are the keywords of this pair, and in days of old there is evidence for a once world wide system reflecting a sacred highway navigating the Earth via Heaven, a secret wisdom uniting the two. Civilizations of old were building a new world wide city, a new cosmology for the planet, as Revelation calls for a pioneering new urban spirit, a new Decapolis.

Aquarius is an AIR sign devoted to the social agenda.

Gemini is an AIR sign, the last AIR sign to have traversed the point of Spring.

We have things to learn from the last time this vibration held sway. The prophets of both the Hebrew Bible and Christianity’s Revelation both foretold of a City of God to whom all would come to pay reverence. This was its predecessor.

Welcome to the New Jerusalem.

Welcome to Aquarius.
